THREE – ADVANCED MODERN ROCK GUITAR IMPROVISATION
This book is a work by Jon Finn who is a Berklee guitar instructor. Jon uses the five basic pentatonic scales and then works with them on a geometric basis across the fretboard. You would probably need to already have quite a bit of playing experience under your belt to get the most from this work.
Although this book comes with a great reputation for helping guitarists really get the best from their learning experience, it has to be said that it’s not cheap! This is probably the most expensive in our list of how to play rock guitar books. Â Most people will think long and hard before buying this one.
The book is one hundred and twenty eight pages long and is a how to play rock guitar favorite.
WHAT DOÂ THE REVIEWS SAY?
As stated earlier, the reviewers of the book do mention that you need to have quite a bit of playing skills together before using this book, it’s not for beginners. There was one negative, however, and that was the books suitability for Kindle users.
